These series of Pop-Art style Illustrations where done of people who inspired me in my life. People who taught me how to become a more happy, positive, hard-working, and loving person. Each image is 24" by 32" and hand drawn using Prisma colored pencils, markers, and back ink.
These Illustrations are based on people who inspire me in my life. Who have touched me in one way or another. We all have people who have changes our lives, helped us grow, inspired us to take that chance. Drawing each of these individuals filled my heart as much as I enjoyed illustrating them. The style is reflective of the pop-art movement twisted with some Art Nouveau, two of my favorite art movements. These Illustrations are reminiscent of Roy Lichtenstein’s Bendi Dots with Alphonse Mucha love of the female figure and line work. Take a close look at each of them and you will see hand drawn dots. All of these pieces are done in Prisma colored pencil, marker, and ink pens, for the outline.
